Summit lace
Summit Lace is a blend of 75% Suri Alpaca and 25% silk. A fluffy and soft fiber that can be carried with another yarn or used alone for a delightful airy fabric. Alpaca and silk take dyes differently, so the base will have a slightly paler fluffy section with a brighter silk thread at the center. It creates beautiful depth of color and tonal variation. When paired with the same color in wool, it will be lighter in tone.

Construction: Suri Alpaca spun around a silk thread
Gauge: Can be held with any weight of yarn and will increase the weight of the fabric to a looser gauge by one weight (fingering + lace + sport/DK). Summit gauge held alone can vary from 20 - 36 stitches/4" based on how loose or dense you want the fabric.
